Two blocks to downtown Joseph, this park gets 5 stars on social media sites. It’s a long ways from the Willamette Valley, so if you are coming from there, consider making it a two day trip with possible stops at Boardman RV Park and Marina or the COE campground in Plymouth, WA

Northeast Oregon is wonderful in the fall. The tamaracks are turning golden, maybe there is a light dusting of snow to provide contrast to Wallowa Lake and the surrounding Wallowa Mountains/Eagle Cap Wilderness, summer crowds have headed home, and end of season sales are often in progress. There are some great hikes a short walk from our cabin or on the Lake’s east moraine, the Kokanee run is often in progress up the Wallowa River and a driving tour to the Nature Conservancy’s Zumwalt Prairie is a nice way to spend a morning looking for raptors and seeing the prairie recovery in progress.

We have been vacationing at Wallowa Lake for almost 40 years. Whether you want to hike, fish, shop or just sit at the Lake or a cafe with a coffee or beer and enjoy the scenery, we and other club members can provide you a number of ideas.

Meals: We will have a happy hour each evening, one potluck and Joanne and I will host a breakfast and dinner at a cabin we’ve been building for 17 years, nearby.

Cancellation Policy: There are times when plans change or unexpected events arise and rally attendance must be cancelled. When this occurs you may receive a refund. The amount of the refund will be determined by the club’s expense. If, for example, you cancel enough in advance that your spot is filled from a waiting list, you would be entitled to a full refund whereas a last minute cancellation would likely result in no refund at all.
